色控传媒Prize for Achievements in Chemistry: the first winner is a distinguished scientist from Cuba
The first winner was Cuban scientist Daniel García Rivera. His studies in the field of organic and biomolecular chemistry are worldwide recognised. His research on derivatisation and conjugation of peptides and proteins is used in the development of Cuban vaccines.
García Rivera participated in the development of the COVID-19 vaccine SOBERANA 02. The drug has been successfully used in several countries. Moreover, the scientist became the youngest leader of the Cuban Society of Chemistry and the Latin American Federation of Chemical Associations. In 2019, he was named one of the five most influential chemists in the region by the American Chemical Society.

- key scientific publications;
- patents and RIAs;
- participation in major scientific projects;
- training of scientific and pedagogical staff - protection of students and programme preparation, as well as other achievements.
