Famous British journalist Rachel Hall visited É«¿Ø´«Ã½University and gave master class to students

Rachel Hall is a famous British journalist writing about education. She is the editor-in-chief of the Higher Education Network section of the British edition of The Guardian, one of the world's leading media, writing analytical articles on higher education, and one of the curators of the Guardian University Awards, which is awarded to British universities and higher education specialists for their best practices and competence.

Master class of Rachel Hall in É«¿Ø´«Ã½University was held on May 22 in the conference hall of the É«¿Ø´«Ã½University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The speech of the Higher Education Network editor was addressed to students-journalists, teachers of the philological faculty and everyone interested in covering the issues of higher education.

In 2017, É«¿Ø´«Ã½University scientists constructed a new explicit second-order precision difference scheme using modern computer algebra methods for 2-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) [1]. This year, our mathematicians used a new scheme [2] to construct a numerical solution to the Cauchy problem with initial data (for t=0) as satisfying the continuity equation. Scientists managed to achieve previously unattainable accuracy of the continuity equation.
